Disclaimer: Shape note singing is loud. If you have hearing issues, bring earplugs. My watch tells me that the singing has occasionaly been 90 decibels or more, which can lead to temporary hearing loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you can’t climb stairs at all, use the double-door entrance by the sanctuary and handicapped spaces.\u00a0 The double door entry is level and flat. Inside, you’ll find an elevator to your left that will bring you up to a hallway leading to the singing space, or down to wheelchair accessible restrooms and dining.\u00a0 There are additional restrooms on the second level by the singing, but these are useful only if you don’t use a wheelchair.\u00a0 The stalls do have grab bars.\u00a0 If you have questions about accessibility before the singing, email gapbob@yahoo.com or on the day of the singing you can call\/text 517-775-9831 for info or assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main sanctuary has two sets of double doors, with handicapped parking adjacent to the front door, with no curbs. The doors do NOT have a push-button to open.
