She writes:

I've been the director of music here at Christ Church for going on fourteen
years. Our pastor's wife, Mynda, grew up going to singing school in West
Virginia. She & her husband have five kids, all grown with kids of their
own. About eight or nine years ago one of their sons, David Lorenz,
approached me about shape note singing from the Sacred Harp hymnal. I knew
nothing of it but thought we could give it a try.
