The Kalamazoo singing, using The Sacred Harp, is from 4-6 pm on the third Sunday of each month, as the pandemic allows. Call 269-382-4288 for more information/questions/etc, or email Martha Beverly at marthabeverly -at- gmail.com. From her announcement of this singing:

It's time to gather together again and sing. We all need to feel and be safe, so please follow the following requirements developed by Anne Missavage, MD, and me:
  1. You MUST be vaccinated against Covid and bring your vaccination card with you to show me.
  2. DO NOT come to sing if you have any of the symptoms of Covid which also includes symptoms of the common cold. Please stay home.

Directions: We will sing at my home at 4124 Persianwood Drive, Kalamazoo MI 49006. I live in the Garden Home condos behind Friendship Village which is located at 1400 North Drake Road, Kalamazoo 49006. Turn off Drake Road towards the large building, but stay left, NOT turning into the driveway towards the Big House. You will see a sign on your left for the Garden Homes. Just beyond that sign, turn left onto Persianwood Drive and stay on that winding road until you see my condo, 4124, on the left. The house numbers are easy to see. Please leave the driveway for those with handicapped plates or tags. There's plenty of parking on the street. There's a big cul de sac beyond me, an easy spot to turn around.

Monthly singings occur on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Usually these singings are from 3-6 PM, the first hour the singing is from tunebooks OTHER than the Denson 1991 Sacred Harp, which is used from 4-6 pm.
