Co-chairs Randy Neufeld and Ginny Landgraf
are pleased to announce the
36th Annual Midwest Sacred Harp Convention
Covid Protocols (With a nod to MN singers!)
Covid infection rates may be down, but singing is not a risk-free activity, especially for people with compromised immune systems. This is our plan, to allow you to evaluate your personal risk and choose whether to participate:
-
Use of face-masks will be optional.
-
Proof of vaccination will not be required.
-
Same-day Covid testing before the event each day is encouraged but not required.
-
We will allow a couple of extra feet between chairs in the rows.
-
We will use fans to promote cross-ventilation.
-
Please do not attend if you have symptoms of COVID or other infectious illness or have recently been with large groups of strangers.
Ask yourself honestly if you are showing any of the observable Covid symptoms, have been exposed to someone infected with Covid, or have participated in crowded public events in the five days before the singing. If you recognize Covid symptoms or have recent high-risk exposures, we hope to sing with you at a later date!
